Most of the internet we use today (often called Web2) relies on centralized servers. When you visit a website, you are essentially asking a single computer—or a specific company's group of computers—to send you information.

While this system works most of the time, it comes with limitations. Centralized servers are vulnerable to downtime, single points of failure, censorship, and reliance on hosting subscriptions. If a server crashes or a company shuts down, the information vanishes, leaving behind the dreaded "404 Not Found" error.

To solve this, we are utilizing IPFS (InterPlanetary File System). You might be wondering about the .nft at the end of the name. quran-web3.nft is a Web3 domain, provided by Unstoppable Domains. Unlike traditional .com or .org addresses that are rented and controlled by central registries, a Web3 domain is owned entirely by its creator and lives on the blockchain.
But what does this mean for the project itself?
- Static and Serverless: We are building this using a static web concept. There is no heavy database running behind the scenes.
- Lightweight and Fast: Because it is static, loading times are minimal, making it accessible even on slower connections.
